The Lenox Portable Furnace Camera Diagnostic System provides an easy and economical means
to achieve real-time, color video monitoring and digital recording of combustion and process
control in high-temperature, billet reheat furnaces like walking beam, walking hearth, pusher
furnace, and also rotary hearth, annealing, melt shop, electric arc furnace (EAF), and other thermal
treatment furnaces found in the steel and metal industries. With this mobile system, operators
can use one unit for diagnostics or monitoring and recording of several individual furnaces using
any available 3.5 inch (89 mm) opening.

This Portable Furnace Camera Diagnostic System is entirely self-contained, consisting of an air
filtration and power system, water hoses, and 8-inch LCD color monitor packaged in a durable
case with telescoping handle and wheels. The furnace camera’s stainless steel housing employs
a steel triple wall laminar flow for efficient water-cooled protection of the CCD color camera and
integrated low consumption air-purging to keeps the lens clear of particulate, enabling extended
operation in hostile environments up to 3500°F (1927°C). A radiant heat shield and mini-digital
